- EINHAUS, NANCY NYE, 62, of Palm Harbor, died Friday (Feb. 18, 2000) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and came here in 1967 from Des Plaines, Ill. She was a registered nurse at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, for 26 years. She was a recipient of a Nurse of the Year Award. She was a CPR instructor for the American Red Cross and a Girl Scout, Brownie and Cub Scout leader. She was a member St. Luke Catholic Church, Palm Harbor. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bernard; two sons, Ken, Germantown, Maryland, and Steve, Mountain View, Calif.; a daughter, Dr. Stephanie Einhaus, Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Althea Maher, Hiwasse, Ark., and Mary Jo Smith, Papillion, Neb.; and two grandchildren. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor. Much loved and appreciated by her friends. She will be missed.
